The Friends of Camden Hills State Park seeks to protect the natural, recreational, and cultural resources of the park. Through volunteerism, education, advocacy and financial support, we strive to advance the mission of the park, strengthen the surrounding communities, and inspire generations of dedicated stewardship.

Join us for guided hikes, volunteer days, Jr. Ranger programs and community events that celebrate and protect our park.

We are involved in habitat restoration, trail maintenance, and educational programs that engage the community.

There are many ways to contribute, from volunteering your time to participating in our membership program.

ABOUT US 

The Friends of Camden Hills State Park has applied to the IRS for designation as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Once approved, all donations retroactive to May 2026 shall be tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Land Acknowledgement - We gratefully acknowledge that Camden Hills State Park occupies the ancestral, unceded lands and waters of the Wabanaki Confederacy, whose long history, living culture, and deep relationship with this place continue to shape and sustain the coast of what we now call Maine.w call Maine.

The main entrance to the park is located at 280 Belfast Road (US Route 1) in Camden, Maine.
