Jr. Ranger Programs - Wednesdays July 15, 22 & 29

Earn your Junior Ranger Patch!

Wednesdays, July 15, 22 & 29—9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Meet at the park entry booth.

Join Assistant Ranger Christi for this fun and hands-on program that will help you. Bring a dollar to get the required Junior Ranger activity booklet that comes with crayons. Ages 5 to 12.

Full Moon Observation on Mt. Battie

Wednesday, July 29—Gate will be open until 10:00 p.m.

Every full moon through the summer, the Mount Battie Auto Rd. is open until 10:00 PM for observation.

Enjoy the full “Buck” moon from the top of Mount Battie. Moonrise will be at 8:21 p.m. The gate will be open until 10:00 p.m., so arrive early and bring your binoculars and telescopes.

This is a self-guided viewing.

The Friends of Camden Hills State Park has applied to the IRS for designation as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Once approved, all donations retroactive to May 2026 shall be tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. 

Land Acknowledgement - We gratefully acknowledge that Camden Hills State Park occupies the ancestral, unceded lands and waters of the Wabanaki Confederacy, whose long history, living culture, and deep relationship with this place continue to shape and sustain the coast of what we now call Maine.w call Maine.

The main entrance to the park is located at 280 Belfast Road (US Route 1) in Camden, Maine.
