OUR PROJECTS
At Friends of Camden Hills State Park, we are dedicated to a variety of projects aimed at enhancing the natural beauty and ecological health of the park. Our initiatives include trail maintenance, habitat restoration, and educational programs for the community. Join us in our mission to protect and celebrate this treasured landscape through volunteer opportunities and active participation in our events. Stay updated on our latest projects and how you can get involved!
Trail Maintenance
Volunteer for trail maintenance projects with the Park's Trail Supervisor, Erik Brooks - ongoing April through November.
Email camdentrails@gmail.com for more info as project and location change frequently.
Panels
We have new interpretive panels coming this spring. Thanks to the Lincolnville Hills Project, this blueberry barren panel is complete and graces the field at Cameron Knob!

And this panel about the geology of the park is still in progress...

Two Owl panels will be installed soon: One in the campground and the other will be on Nature trail!
